III.  Treasurer's Report The Treasurer's report was reviewed by Julie The report will be filed for audit. Julie Nelson

  Balance in Checking 2/10/09 is $11, 841.37;      
  Balance in Money Market 12/31/08 is      
  $33.400.50 for a Total of $45, 241.87.      
         
IV.  Director's Report Mr. Bredemeier reviewed the upcoming dates. Please see agenda, item #10 for list. Mr. Bredemeier  
  Parents are requested to assist with the Solo      
  and Ensemble Contest to be held March 5, 2009      
  from 5:30-8:30PM at the High School.   Thanks to Larry Brady for fixing the percussion cabinet.    
  Contest held at GHS provides the stu- Thanks to all the parents who assisted with and attended the

  The tentative Band Camp schedule is available.

      WAYS and MEANS        
  Car Wash Plans should begin now for next summer.  Chuck Bankes    
         
  Cheesecake Sales Fundraiser now completed. Cheryl Johnson and

  Cookie Dough Not completing this year.    
         
         
  Fannie Mae Sales Fundraiser completed; only 42 Band  Cheryl Johnson and   
    students participated in this fundraiser.   Donna Salton  
         
  Patron Sales Letters have been sent with minimal  Rhonda Brady  
    contributions.  Will check with Marsha    Marsha Johnson  
    to determine process  used to distribute,    
    and follow-up activity.  Consider review-    
    ing mailing list.    
         
  HyVee Coupon Booklets Booklets will be available on March 16th.    
    Distribution will be March 18th in class.      Brenda Marshall  
    Monies due in April.  Each student will    
    be asked to sell five (5) booklets.    
         
  Floral/Plant Sales   Cynthia Kitchen  
  Plants would be obtained from a nursery Logistics of amount of plants needed    
  in Augusta, IL.  Delivery date would  to be sold to make a good profit and     
  be May 1st.  Profit margin would be  delivery difficulties discussed at length.
