Additional Information and competition schedule as follows:

University of Illinois Memorial Stadium is located between First Street and Fourth Street along Kirby / Florida Avenue in Champaign, Illinois. (Click here for map)

    Driving directions are as follows:
    Take I-74 to Champaign, IL.
Exit 181 at Prospect Street. (first off ramp)
Turn right (south) on Prospect and drive south about 10 minutes to W. Kirby Avenue.
Turn left on W. Kirby. (note: Kirby changes into Florida Ave at S. Neil St (Hwy 45) intersection)
Continue on W. Kirby for a little less than 1 mile to S. Oak Street (just pass underpass)
We are hoping to park Band Truck, Busses and GHS Fan vehicles in the large grassy parking area located on north side of Kirby / Florida between Oak and First Streets. (in the past, you enter this area by turning left on First Street.  If we are unable to park here, we will be located in the large parking lot located directly to the south.
    Look for the band truck.

The GHS Marching Streaks fans like to watch the parade on 6th Street, around the intersection of Gregory Drive. (look for the Judges Stand)  - Click here to display the Parade Route Map.

The Band warms up for the parade north of the parking lot, across the street.

The Field Competition is at Memorial Stadium, northeast of the large parking lot (east of the warm up field)

There are videos/DVDs of the GHS show sold at U of I.  You fill out an order form there, and the DVD is mailed when it is ready.

Lunch is back at the busses in parking area.  This is the "tailgate lunch" consisting of a couple sandwiches, apple, chips, and a drink for those persons who ordered and paid Mr. B.
If you did not order a lunch, that’s OK. You can bring your own lunch and there are also restaurants within walking distance of the buses.

Again - Be prepared for various weather conditions because it can change quickly this time of year.  Plan for rain, bring blankets, dress warm.  If you don't know by now, it can get cold in the stands.
